From the legendary St. Petersburg pre-trial detention center, the Crosses plan to make a concert-museum site. According to Mash, the potential new owner is the head of the PMI corporation Evgeny Finkelstein.
The auction for the historical building of the former pre -trial detention center will take place on Friday, the starting price is 1.1 billion rubles. And Finkelstein intends to win it – his company is engaged in concerts, in 2021, journalists estimated the condition of the businessman at 2.59 billion rubles. In case of purchase, he plans to organize there a concert-museum cluster for large events, exhibitions and so on.
In the commentary, Finkelstein did not refute the information, but also did without details. He only admitted: in the place of “Crosses” wants to build a “museum of good and evil.” For this, he has: plots with an area of 3.9 hectares and buildings (some of them are objects of cultural heritage) – 41.2k squares. Only 25.5k rubles per square meter of prison.
