“It was an mining arrest. I was a political prisoner. The court in which there were judges from Iustitia decided that I should not be in custody.” – said Dariusz Matecki to leave the prison walls, quoted by Onet.
The PiS MP emphasized that the main purpose of his arrest was to bring testimonies to Minister Zbigniew Ziobra. – I felt that if I was lying down and saying something on him, this arrest would end. (…) This is my political authority, a man who did everything for the good of Poland and defeated the VAT mafia – said Dariusz Matecki.
Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar called the civil rights, seeking to liquidate the opposition in Poland.
– I could go to the USA or Hungary, but I don't leave my country. Nevertheless, I understand Marcin Romanowski – emphasized PiS politician.
The MP, who was arrested in March for a period of two months in connection with the investigation of the Justice Fund, was welcomed before arrest by a group of several dozen his supporters who express solidarity with him. PiS MPs Mariusz Gosek and Marek Suski are also present on site.
According to the findings of the Investigative Team No. 2 of the National Prosecutor's Office, which is investigating the Justice Fund, MP Matecki, acting in consultation with the Ministry of Justice during the period when Zbigniew Ziobro was managed by him, he participated in setting competitions for multi -million subsidies from the Justice Fund and leading public money to related organizations – the Fidei Defensor Association and the Friends of Health Association.
