The process of a creepy crime that rocked the UK last year was completed, when a mother killed her 6-year-old child, who had a hand-to-hand, after a brain tumor, the Independent reports.
The crime took place on August 29, 2024 in a neighborhood of Swansea, where the policemen who were called by the neighbors who heard screams found Karolina Zurawska, 42 years old, near the lifeless body of his only 6-year-old son, Alexander, with a hand saw next to her.
The woman recognized the murder, saying she heard “demonic voices” that urged her to do so.
The court that had to make a decision in this case took into account the statements of some witnesses according to which Karolina Zurawska would have been “the best mother” for his son, who recovered after a brain tumor who left him partially blind and needed a stick to go.
In fact, the woman, who suffers from schizophrenia, pleaded guilty to the accusation of murder by diminishing responsibility, but denied the crime. He also pleaded guilty for his father's attempt to kill his father, Krzysztof Siwi, the same day he killed his little boy.
The accusation of murder by recklessness was accepted by the prosecutor's office, three psychiatrist experts concluding that Karolina Zurawska was suffering from a psychotic disease at the time. Thus, on Friday, Judge Paul of Swansea Crown Court condemned the killer mother to hospitalization in a hospice for an indefinite period.
According to the documents in the file, Karolina Zurawska had called her father that day and was “weird”, as she would tell. Concerned for his daughter, he got in the car and went to her home, where she found her sitting on the floor of the hall and refusing to communicate with him.
He convinced her to go out in the garden, where they smoked Pigară, after which Karolina Zurawska told her father that she wanted to kill him and tried to attack him with a knife. The man managed to disarm it and got in the car, contacting his other daughter, who lives in Poland, to advise what to do.
He and the sister of Karoline Zurawska were also worried that if he announced the police on the attack on him, the authorities will certainly take the child, both being convinced that he will do nothing wrong with the little boy, the woman always proving a loving mother.
However, the man tried to take Alexander, but was prevented and attacked again with the knife, so he got in the car and headed for the house. On the way, however, talking again with the daughter in Poland, at her advice, she decided to return, only that she was surpassed by several police cars.
When they arrived at the scene, the authorities, who were in the meantime alerted by the neighbors who heard the screams, arrived too late, because the woman, urged by the “demonic voices” in her mind, had killed the child.
