In Krasnoyarsk, the first strategic session on working with children-infants took place this year. On it pDiasporas and representatives of the diaspora discussed how to train effectively Schoolchildren for whom the Russian language is not native.

Materials on the topic

According to the city hall, at present in Krasnoyarsk schools 22 thousand such children (15 % of all students). They say in Kabardian, Kyrgyz, Tajik, Uzbek and Azerbaijani and other languages, and education is obtained in Russian.

Majority are trained in Schools of the Leninsky and Soviet districts. The most experienced in this regard is school No. 16, where the guys of 14 nationalities study, but there teachers are faced with difficulties.

Anastasia Bryukhanova, deputy director of school No. 39, said that she first explains the topic in Russian for most children, and then through a text translator to foreign students.

“But it happens that they also do not know how to read in their native language. I translate, but the child still does not understand, ”she explained Anastasia Bryukhanova.

According to amendments to federal legislation, from April 1 of this year, children of foreign citizens, upon admission to school, must pass a mandatory test for knowledge of the Russian language. Enrollment is possible only in case of successful passage. The minimum threshold is three points, this level is considered sufficient for the development of educational programs of primary and secondary general education. If the child does not cope, parents will be offered to give him to additional classes, and after 3 months to retake.

“I think this decision is correct. Before moving to another country, it is parents who should take care of this issue. The child should at least understand the Russian language, be able to speak on it, otherwise how will he live here? When we moved from Uzbekistan, the teacher constantly called us in the lessons, helped. We studied with the children, ”said Saitmor Kholzhigitov, chairman of the Uzbek national-cultural autonomy.

Deputy Head of the Department of Education Krasnoyarsk Marina Chernyshkova believes that pAbot with foreign children requires an integrated approach and participation of teachers, psychologists and parents: “Such strategic sessions allow you to exchange experience, find new solutions, because we must provide equal opportunities in the development of federal state educational standards to all children.”
