The Siberian Generating Company closed the 36th non-ecological boiler room in Krasnoyarsk.
The heat source entered the program to close ineffective boiler houses. This is one of the environmental projects of the SGK, which has been implemented since 2018 as part of the federal project “Clean Air” of the National Project “Environmental Welfare”.
The boiler room No. 5 on Totmin Street in the Oktyabrsky district was put into operation in 1966. It provided with warm and hot water residents of apartment buildings, as well as social facilities and administrative buildings. Although the object worked properly, the equipment had a high level of wear and no longer met modern environmental requirements. And the low pipes of the heat source literally smoked into the windows of the houses located nearby – according to the residents, “Sazha settled on windowsill in apartments and parked cars.”
“The boiler house threw more than 1.5 thousand tons of pollutants into the atmosphere. Closing a dirty heat source is a serious contribution to the ecology of the city. The implementation of a comprehensive plan to reduce the load on the environment of the regional capital continues. In the near future, we will find the closure of the last boiler room on Norilskaya Street, ”said Vladimir Chasovitin, Minister of Ecology of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
To close the boiler room to Totmin, the power engineers did a great job. I had to completely review the heat supply system of the district. During the work, not only plans for the replacement of boiler houses were taken into account, but also the ability to connect new buildings in the actively developing northwestern part of the city. For two and a few years, more than 8 km of heating systems were reconstructed and built here, this significantly increased the reliability of the heat supply of the inhabitants. Now the Krasnoyarsk resources will receive the necessary resource from the Krasnoyarsk TPP-2.
“SGK systematically fulfills the obligations taken to the residents of the city to reduce the burden on the environment. The boiler room in the Oktyabrsky district became the 36th of the 37-sided and environmentally friendly heat sources in the city. The volume of investments among the replaced boiler houses is over 12 billion rubles. Thanks to the boiler room replacement program and taking into account the implemented measures of the environmental modernization of the Krasnoyarsk TPP-1, emissions into the atmosphere have already been reduced by more than 11 thousand tons, ”said Oleg Bubnovsky, CEO of Yenisei TGK (TGK-13).

Note that the company sells other eco -projects. In particular, a new smoke pipe 275 meters high was installed on the Krasnoyarsk TPP-1, two new boiler units and 11 out of 15 electrifilters with an efficiency of more than 99 %were built and put into operation, and two turbines are installed. After the launch of all gas treatment plants, the enterprise emissions will decrease by 80 %.
In addition, it is preparing to launch the second power unit on the Krasnoyarsk TPP-3. In addition, the inhabitants of the private sector SGK transfer it to electric heating as part of the New Heating project, and a network of electric shift stations for electric cars is being developed.
