Ukrainians can get higher education at the expense of employment service. How is it working?
The State Employment Service issues a voucher that entitles training to a certain list of professions and specialties.
The cost of the voucher is up to 30 280 UAH: this is enough to cover most of the training costs. If the amount for training exceeds this limit, the difference can be paid on your own or with the support of the employer.
To get a voucher, you need to contact the employment center or apply online on the SES website.
Ukrainians who already have diploma and experience can get such a voucher, but seek to master a new profession or change their career path.
The program is designed for:
People from 45 years old
Veterans
Internally displaced persons
Citizens affected by war – due to injury, loss of work or forced movement.
❗️Important: The voucher is only issued to those who are not registered as an unemployed and has education not lower than a professional technical level.
The first private mining and metallurgical university Metinvest Polytechnic also joined the National Support Program: you can get current technical specialties here.
Also this year, Metinvest Polytechnic has simplified the procedure for veterans: it is enough for them to go through only an online communication. Last year, using this opportunity, 26 defenders-participants of the Azovstal Heart Project and Metinvest staff have already become students of mining and metallurgical university.
