May 9 Street in Krasnoyarsk will turn into “Honor Street” for several days

Throughout the street on May 9, portraits of 34 veterans of the Great Patriotic War will be placed on advertising media, which this year was awarded the title of Honorary citizens of Krasnoyarsk. The action was announced in the city hall.

“The street named after the sign date in the history of Russia, on May 9, will turn into“ Honor Street ”for several days. We are sure that everyone who will drive or walk here will certainly pay attention to the honorary series of heroes, gratefully will think about what they did for future generations. In the person of our veterans – honorary citizens of the city of Krasnoyarsk – we bow to everyone who gave us victory 80 years ago, ” – told Deputy Head of the City – Head of the Department of Information Policy Svetlana Skripalshchikova.

The city hall also noted that they launched a series of information projects telling about the fate of our veterans, the city’s contribution to the victory in the Second World War, memorable places on the map of Krasnoyarsk. Some of them are already being implemented, others are presented in the near future.
