JD Vance – Troll or Vandal? He will do everything to become the successor of Trump

It is worth asking if there are any limits of his ambition. Judging by his achievements so far, the answer is: not very much.

The statement that Vance is disliked by liberals – both European and American – would be understatement. From all dates and places, the vice president chose Valentine's Day and Munich to express his disgust with European liberal democracy. His message was: Multiculturalism and censorship pose a greater threat to Europe than Russia or China. Since then, every week, he has been throwing Europe into one bag with needles.
Regardless of whether it is about making the defense abilities of the continent or an uninvited visit to Greenland and mockery of Denmark, Vance found his spectacular attack method. In the Magician world, Europeans play the same role as politically correct globalists in their homeland.
The most enraged the fact that Vance is quite good in it. He cannot be considered stupid – like Pete HegeSeth, a caricatured incompetent defense secretary of Trump. His weakness in relation to the Republican base is that he cannot escape the traps of being an intellectual – he himself admits that he ventures in “many strange right -wing subcultures”.
His justification for xenophobia is the Catholic citation Ordo amoris (Love order). According to him, you must first love God, and then yourself, your family and fellow men. People from a distance, especially immigrants, are at the very end. The sick Pope Francis felt strong enough to indirectly rebuke Vance, citing a parable of a good Samaritan, who helped a stranger in need.
A conversion to Catholicism, which Vance made in 2019, is a clear sign of right -wing intellectualism in the USA. However, he does not give the key to understand his thinking. Vance is the main supporter of Trump's administration in terms of breaking large technology companiessuch as finish. However, many of his wealth and political growth owe to Peter Thiel, one of the members of the original “PayPal Mafia” and self -proclaimed right -wing thinker from the Silicon Valley. Presumably, the antitrust offensive of Vance does not include companies belonging to Thiel or Musk.

The vice president is married to Usha, daughter of immigrants from India. Despite this, he is in favor of the so -called nationalism of blood and soil. He is a Hammer of Trump on outraged liberals in the battle for deportation and falsely claimed that Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, a 29-year-old man who questions his exile to prison in Salvador, was “convicted” of being a member of the gang.
Vance also proclaims anti -elitism, although he graduated from Yale and worked in private equity. Few of these contradictions can be easily explained. However, they divert attention from its most important feature. Vance will say and do everything to become the successor of Trump.
It is also confusing to compare him to Dick Cheney, which many do. Cheney was de facto co -president during the first term of George W. Bush. He set the agenda. Trump creates a policy independently and on a regular basis, and Vance then rationalizes it. However, he apparently likes to present himself from his worst side. The moment when the reluctance from Europe turned into disgust, when Vance “threw himself” at Wołodymyra Zelanski during their meeting in the oval office at the end of February.
