According to the coach, hard diets give only two results: either a breakdown or a weight return “with a bonus”.
“Why is it so? Metabolism slows down. You don’t learn to eat. You just tolerate. And, as a result, the body includes the survival regime,” he explained.
Boyko advised for proper weight loss without hard diets to make a daily shortage from 300 to 500 calories.
Context
Boyko in 2012 at the Ukrainian Bodybuilding Championship in Kyiv won the bronze medal in the category of “Veterans”. In 2016, at the open Cup of the Lviv region for bodybuilding, bodyfitnes, fitness bikini and beach bodybuilding in the category of “veterans” he took second place.
