The Israeli bombing on the Gaza strip killed at least 27 people, most children, on Saturday morning, reported the Palestinian Ministry of Health, reports EFE, quoted by Agerpres. The Israeli army has again bombed the shelters and tents where most of the relocated persons are housed, the Palestinian press reported.

According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, several inhabitants of Gaza were killed after their tent was bombarded west of the city.

In the north of the enclave, at Beit Lahia, the Israeli forces attacked a group of citizens, killing four of them.

In the Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis, designated as a 'humanitarian area' by Israel at the beginning of the war, five inhabitants of Gaza were killed and other tens were injured after another Israeli attack on their tent.

In the same area, four other inhabitants of Gaza, two of them boys and a girl, were killed in a bomb attack on the tent where they lived.

Ever since Israel stopped ceasing fire more than a month ago, almost 420,000 people have been forced, according to the data of the UN Agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA).

In most cases, the army ordered the population to move to the points in the “Humanitarian area” Mawasi, which was already overcrowded with displaced people.

Asked by EF, why the Mawasi area continues to be bombed, a spokesman for the Israeli army said that it is currently not defined as a safety area and that the exhaust areas are changing according to their operations.

“The army requests and facilitates the evacuation of civilians from the areas that endanger their safety, emitting clear and detailed warnings through several channels,” he added.

The total number of Palestinians killed from the beginning of the Israeli invasion has now reached 51,065, and the number of wounded has reached 116,505, thousands of other people being still missing, according to the data of the Gaza Health Department.
