Military parades were organized on Friday in Iran on the occasion of the Army Day, during which the Iranian authorities exposed the military arsenal of the country, especially drones, rockets and tanks manufactured locally, reports France Presse and Agerpres.

These parades, in Tehran and other cities of Iran, took place the day before a second session of negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program between Tehran and Washington.

During the Friday military parade in Tehran, Iran presented locone designed, especially Karrar, Arash and Mohajer models, as well as S-300 air defense systems of Russian origin, according to state television.

On this occasion, the Iranian president, Massoud Pezeshkian, qualified the army as a “solid fortress” of the nation, estimating that it contributes to strengthening the influence of Iran in the region.

This demonstration of force also takes place the day before the crucial negotiations between the Iranian and American delegations provided to take place in Rome with Oman mediation.

A first meeting, which took place in Muscat last week, was qualified as “constructive” by the two parties.

Iran says he is “serious” in negotiations

Western countries, with the US in the forehead, suspect Iran that he wants to equip themselves with nuclear weapons. Tehran rejects these accusations and defends the right for a nuclear for civil purposes, especially for energy.

In March, US President Donald Trump had urged negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program, warning that a military action could be taken into account in case of diplomacy failure. However, he said this Thursday that he is not in a hurry to take a military action.

The head of Iranian diplomacy, Abbas Araghchi, also said that Iran is “serious” in negotiations.

According to the New York Times, Donald Trump intervened to discourage Israel to hit the short -term nuclear sites in Iran, to privilege diplomacy.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netayahu reacted on Thursday, saying Israel will never authorize Iran to equip itself with nuclear weapons, even if Washington continues negotiations.
