US President Donald Trump was climbing the struggle with Harvard University on Wednesday, after the elite educational institution rejected the requests, DPA reports.
“Harvard is a joke, he learns hatred and stupidity and he should no longer receive federal funds,” Trump wrote on the SA TRUTH Social platform.
He also claimed that Harvard should no longer appear on any list of the best universities or colleagues in the world, adding that “Harvard hires everyone (from the movement), on the radical left, idiots and bird brains.”
Trump accuses Harvard and other elite universities in the US of following a left -handed ideology and allow anti -Semitic manifestations on campuses.
Unlike other pressure universities, Harvard refuses to apply Trump's required changes in employment and admission. The president also wants the abandonment of programs of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).
In response, the Trump administration froze $ 2 billion in Harvard federal funds, and Trump threatened that Harvard could also lose tax exemptions.
Harvard University, based near Boston, is a private institution with a heritage of over $ 50 billion and is exempted from taxes by both the US Federal Government and the state of Massachusetts.
At Harvard, as in other American higher education institutions, students mobilized against the war carried by Israel in the Gaza strip. After Trump's return to the White House, such situations came to the government's attention.
