The founder of Kasta Morrely and Eurodemos associations in Iasi, Morel Bolea, was sued by DIICOT prosecutors being accused of minor trafficking.

  • The first disclosures about the abuses in Kasta Morrely were made in 2020 by journalist Matei Bărbulescu, in Libertatea, an investigation after which DIICOT opened a criminal case for rape and human trafficking.

In the file sent on Wednesday to court, the prosecutors accuse Morel Bolea of recruiting four minor victims, between the ages of 13 and 17, promising them to provide them with successful careers through his association.

“Subsequently, speculating the material and emotional vulnerabilities of the minor victims, the defendant received and housed them in the headquarters of his organization, sexually exploiting them for long periods (between 4 and 15 years). In order to ensure total control over the injured persons and to facilitate their exploitation, the defendant, Physics, the use of control methods meant to reduce or eliminate critical thinking and personal autonomy, suppressing the individual identity and promoting a complete addiction to the defendant ”, detail the prosecutors.

From the research carried out by DIICOT it turned out that Morel Bolea maintained with minor victims hundreds of sexual acts and relationships over the years in which they exploited them.

“The psychological expertise prepared in this case revealed that, following repeated abuses of a sexual and emotional nature exerted by the defendant, the victims have the symptoms of post -traumatic stress associated with the long mental constraint, the long -term consequences being depression, anxiety and inability to adapt to a normal social life”.

DIICOT says that the prosecutors have also discovered other facts of trafficking of minors attributable to Morel Bolea, beyond the four minor victims in the file, but these facts cannot be sent to court as the prescription intervened.

Victims' testimonies about abuses suffered

Morel Bolea, the leader of the Eurodemos and Kasta Morrely associations, from Iași, was initially detained by prosecutors DIICOT Iași in November 2022, being accused of minor trafficking. Initially, the Iasi Court ordered its preventive arrest, but later the Court of Appeal decided to investigate.

The DIICOT prosecutors' descriptions of 2022 took place two years away from the freedom of sexual and psychological abuses to which young people were subjected to the two organizations, Eurodemos and Kasta Morrely.

Iuliana Dup, one of the victims of Morel Bolea's network, told, for freedom, the abuses she has gone through for 12 years until she managed to escape under her influence.

Iuliana after telling that she was 13 when she first came into contact with someone from Kasta Morrely, more precisely with Talida, about which Freedom writes that it is the right hand of Morel Bolea. Iuliana was lured with modeling opportunities and participation in activities with influential people.

Iuliana recounts that she was first raped by Bolea at the age of 15 and was consoled by the rest of the girls who were in Kasta Morrely, telling her that she now “shines” and has “a better energy aura”-the manipulations they were subjected to.

He also told about rapes in the house, how girls were chosen to maintain sexual relationships, without their consent. Iuliana says he heard them crying, asking to go to the doctor or even screaming they want to commit suicide. Bolea explains the reactions of girls as “age crises”, “an energy portal” has been opened or that the “slave in them” comes to the surface.

Bolea promised them that they would be business women and that they would make money from her employees, says Iuliana. All the money they earned were common, and each girl took as much as she needed, but the money reached Bolea and the girls had to pray for dozens of lei, she says.
