Ilie Coleșa, deputy from the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (Gold) made a controversial statement at the Parliament's rostrum, in the meeting in which the register of sexual predators in Romania was discussed. According to the deputy, the Barbie dolls that the little girls receive “do not make them experience the role of mother”, but “the opposite role, close to prostitution,” writes Europa FM on Tuesday.

The Deputy Gold claimed that the existence of the register of sexual predators is beneficial, but the state does not act on the causes of sexual crimes.

“The early hypersexualization of children, their exposure to pornography, since they are young, pre -school girls receive instead of ordinary dolls, Barbie dolls through which instead of experiencing the role of mother, they experience the opposite role, close to prostitution. The boys are learning to look at the woman as an object of a family,” the plenary of the Chamber of Deputies.

“Pornography is present in all environments, movies, music, everywhere. All this feeds the subconscious and creates a story, a narrative that destroys the family and essentially creates these monsters, these sexual predators,” said the deputy gold.

At the microphone of the Chamber of Deputies followed members of the SOS Romania, PSD and USR parties. No one has fined Ilie Coleșă's speech, notes Europa FM.

Ilie Coleșa is in the second term of deputy from Cluj.
