The chains of shops of the great retailers will be closed on May 20, when Easter is celebrated. Some supermarkets open Monday for shorter intensions than normal program, others only Tuesday.

The Easter program of the big stores

Easter program 2025 Lidl

On Saturday, April 19, the stores will be open between 07:00 and 18:00.
Sunday and Monday, the shops will be closed.
Starting on Tuesday, April 22, it returns to the normal program: 07:00 – 22:00.

Easter program 2025 Kaufland

Between April 14 and 18, the Kaufland hypermarkets will have an extended program, with the opening time between 06:30 and 07:00, depending on the store, and the closing time between 21:30 and 23:00.

On Saturday, April 19, most stores will have a shorter operating program, which starts between 06:30 and 07:00 and ends between 5:00 pm and 19:00. The exception is Kaufland Sibiu Mall, which will open at 08:00.
On the first day of Easter, Sunday, April 20, all Kaufland stores will be closed.
On the second day of Easter, Monday, April 21, the stores will have a short program: the opening will be at 09:00. The closing time will vary, depending on the store, between 16:00 and 18:00. Also, the store inside the Promenada Mall Sibiu will be open between 10:00 and 22:00.

Easter program 2025 Carrefour

On Saturday, April 19, Carrefour will close the stores earlier, more precisely at 6:00 pm.
On Easter day, all stores will be closed.
On Monday, April 21, some units could work with a low program or will remain closed.

Easter program 2025 Mega Image

Sunday, April 20: All Mega Image stores will be closed.
Monday, April 21: Stores will work between 09:00 and 18:00. The program may vary depending on the location, especially in the case of shop & goo or shops in shopping centers.
