On April 23, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will present in the Sejm information about the tasks of Polish foreign policy this year.

In a conversation in Radio Three, Sikorski announced that he would speak in the Sejm, among others About the “philosophical difference” between the government and the current opposition. “Today's opposition says that Poland, its security, must be entrusted to the President of the United States. And of course they are right that today Putin's scapering (Vladimir) without the United States is difficult,” admitted Sikorski.

“That is why we say, unlike nationalists, that we need to slowly build a second insurance policy in the form of the military skills of the European Union itself, which in the coming years will not be able to scare away Putin, but if it came to scare away some wavement in the Balkans or in Libya, we should be able to do it alone,” said the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Speaking of duties imposed and suspended by the President of the United States, Sikorski emphasized that the American administration should take into account all mutually favorable economic relations with the EU.

“The United States has a gigantic surplus in the export of services, and in addition, the American stock exchanges is found by a huge stream of money savings of Europeans, which drives the American economy. In total, millions of jobs on both sides of the Atlantic depend on this trade, which is mutually favorable, so there is an old British saying that I like, if something is not broken,” Sikorski.

Last week, President Donald Trump announced a suspension for 90 days of additional duties on goods from countries with which the United States has a sales deficit. At this time, customs are to be 10 percent. The exception is China – duties for goods from this country have been raised in total to 145 percent. (PAP)
