Krasnoyarsk archaeologists found traces of ancient welding technology in the burials

Krasnoyarsk archaeologists managed to find examples of the use of ancients in Siberia welding technology. This was reported by the press service of the SFU.
The finds were made on the territory of the Pinchuga-6 monument, which is located in the lower reaches of the Angara. There, in burials III – IV centuries of our era, dug up A collection of 35 iron tools of the ancient Siberian people: Knives, heating, scrapers, hammers, blacksmiths and knife blanks.
“Probably, these items were to be useful to a blacksmith in his afterlife. For example, with the help of a hammer after death, the master could continue his business, and unshaked blanks of knives and blacksmithing can help him in this, ”said the head of the study, a senior researcher at the Yenisei Siberian archeology Laboratory Siberian Siberian Siberian Polina Senotrusova.
Among these objects, unique artifacts with welded elements were found – for example, belts decorated with iron convex stripes.
According to researchers, metal tools are very rare, since the material was very expensive. ANDFeelous things were laid only to privileged members of society.
All found things carry traces of culture of the Hunsnu (Huns), which originated in the II – I centuries BC.
