The Romanian Border Police has two new deputies in the operative management structure. The decision, issued by order of the Minister of Internal Affairs, enters into force on Monday, April 14, 2025.

“The Center for Information and Public Relations of the General Inspectorate of the Border Police informs the public opinion that, starting April 14, 2025, two officers were empowered, by order of the Minister of Internal Affairs, in the vacant positions of the inspector General”, transmitted the border police.
The two will have attributions in the operative field, with specific responsibilities in coordinating the main lines of activity of the institution.
According to the quoted source, the Police Qualer Dan Călinoiu will coordinate the activities related to the supervision and control of the border crossing, with an emphasis on the implementation of the security and fluidization measures.
Also, the police quotor Dumitru Bîltag, an officer with professional experience in the operative structures, will subordinate the segment on preventing and combating illegal migration, as well as of cross -border criminality.
“The empowerment of the two officers aims to strengthen the operative coordination capacity of the Romanian Border Police, in order to ensure a effective controlin a context marked by complex challenges on the borders of the country ”, the border police also sent.
