Gigi Becali announces that he will campaign to Crin Antonescu: “I have nothing to talk to with George Simion”

George Becali today sent to Parliament that he has resigned from gold and, therefore, he becomes a deputy. Contacted by Hotnews, Becali-conflicted with George Simion, who accused of “becoming the servant of Călin Georgescu-said he would support Crin Antonescu, the PSD-PNL-UDMR candidate in the presidential elections.

In a document sent Monday to the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Becali says he resigned from gold on March 14: “Consequently, please take note of my withdrawal from the golden parliamentary group, and I will continue to continue my parliamentary activity as an unaffected deputy.”

“I have nothing to talk to with Mr. Simion. I never talk to him anymore. I never quarreled, it was when he made that boldness on Tiktok, that I am history, that he sends me to football, to church and sheep. Then, goodbye, I did not … he sent me.”

He said that he remains unaffiliated deputy and that “for now” he will not join Senator Claudiu late, in the Party who announced that he will do it after leaving gold because of the conflict with George Simion.

“The only thing that interests me is to support Crin Antonescu and ready (…) Let's see what people are, who are still unaffiliated, but not to join PNL or PSD, only Antonescu, so much. I will campaign for Crin Antonescu,” said Becali.
