Presidential election. PKW refused to register two candidates


To consider the PKW There is no longer a candidate who wants to start in the presidential election 2025.
The PKW refused to register four out of 17 candidates, including on Friday – the Polish Repair Candidate Romuald Starosiel and entrepreneur Paweł Tanajno. On this day, she registered journalist Krzysztof Standowski.
A few days ago, PKW refused to register David Jackiewicz and Wiesław Lewicki.
This means that the election will start:
- Artur Bartoszewicz (economist),
- Magdalena Biejat (Left candidate),
- Grzegorz Braun (MEP excluded from the Confederation),
- Szymon Hołownia (Speaker of the Sejm, third way candidate),
- Marek Jakubiak (MP of the Free Republicans Circle),
- Sławomir Mentzen (Confederation candidate),
- Karol Nawrocki (president of the Institute of National Remembrance, candidate supported by PiS),
- Joanna Senyszyn (former SLD MP, economist),
- Rafał Trzaskowski (President of Warsaw and KO candidate),
- Marek Woch (candidate of non -party local government officials),
- Adrian Zandberg (MP, candidate of the Together party)
- Maciej Maciak (leader of the Welfare and Peace Movement).
The official candidacy in the presidential election is possible by submitting a candidate to the PKW and providing a minimum of 100,000. signatures of support.
The presidential election will take place on May 18 this year, and a possible second round – June 1.
