The interim president, Ilie Bolojan, says, in a message transmitted on Sunday, by the Flowers, that “it is a moment of reflection on the path of suffering and sacrifice” and “we are called to focus on the values that define us” respect, solidarity and responsibility “.
“The feast of the Lord's entry into Jerusalem, known as the Sunday of Flowers, marks the beginning of a period of significance – the week of passions. It is a moment of reflection on the path of suffering and sacrifice, which prepares us for the Resurrection,” the interim chief of the state said.
He urged the Romanians to be more attentive to the needs of others and to focus on the fundamental values of society.
“We are called to be more attentive to the needs of others and to focus on the values that define us – respect, solidarity and responsibility,” said Bolojan.
The interim president also sent wishes to those who celebrate their names.
“Those who celebrate their onomastics wish them many years, with health and peace with your loved ones. I wish you all a day of flowers with peace and good thoughts!”, Concludes the interim president of Romania.
Ciolacu: “An opportunity to strengthen the values that define us as a people”
For his part, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu spoke about Flowers as an occasion of spiritual communion and reaffirmation of essential values: faith, freedom, respect for human dignity and tolerance, a message sent on the Government's website is shown.
“All Christians in Romania, regardless of confession, mark together, this year, the entry of the Lord Jesus Christ into Jerusalem-an occasion of spiritual communion, reflection and strengthening of values that define us as a people: faith, freedom, respect for human dignity and tolerance,” the prime minister said.

I wish you all a blessed Sunday, peace in souls and joy with your loved ones. Let us meet this holiday with hope and trust in a better future!”
