The world giant closes the plant in Germany. Too high costs


According to commercial messages, citing the company's press release, the plant is to operate by the end of next year.
“After long and intensive consultations The company plans to close the plant in Ochsenfurt due to changing consumer behavior, low use of production capacity and high costs. The Management Board of Danone regrets this decision, taking into account the outstanding commitment of employees and the long tradition of the plant ” – we read in a press release about which commercial messages write about.
At the same time, Danone plans to invest part of the money in a nearby plant in Fulda. There, however, work is to focus on the production of specialized products, such as baby milk.

The plant in Ochsenfurt employs approx. 230 people and specializes in manufacturing, among others yogurt. The level of production in recent years, however, has dropped drastically and therefore the dairy founded over 50 years ago will be closed at the end of 2026.
