The Ingush group, standing behind the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall, sent weapons from Thailand to Russia in premises with pans. Now, three participants in the smuggling channel are detained.
According to Mash, we are talking about two brothers – Magomede and Salam Tumgoevs, as well as their accomplice Bilala Torshheev. All of them are associated with the extremist organization “Batal Haji”. A criminal case for illegal import of weapons across the state border has already been instituted against them.
The scheme worked like this: the defendants went to Bangkok, where they bought Glock 19 pistols – a popular weapon among Batalhaji. They were dismantled to pieces, the details were hidden inside pans and ovens, all this was sent to Moscow by mail. Since the Gloki mainly from plastic, it was difficult to notice them on the “lumen”. Weapons were taken from Moscow to Ingushetia by buses. Recently, the security forces found there a cache with weapons in the village of Surhaha. In the same village there were caches with trunks for a terrorist attack in Crocus. In total, four Gloka, Makarov and Automat gun were seized.
The channel has been operating since 2011, during which time more than 600 weapons were brought from Thailand and Turkey to Russia.
