The US administration wants China to apply for a conversation with President Donald Trump to go to the trade war, but Beijing consistently refuses it – CNN said on Friday. Trump's people also refuse to make the first traffic, while claiming that China chose the conflict escalation.

According to CNN, on Thursday, Trump's administration warned the Chinese in private conversations against retaliation for the US authorities increased customs duties on Chinese goods. The Americans were also to say that the chairman of the PRC XI Jinping should ask for a telephone conversation with Trump. Instead, a few hours later, China announced their retaliation, increasing the customs rate for goods from the US to 125 percent.
A similar dynamics in US contacts with China had to exist for two months: Washington communicates to Beijing that XI should initiate a conversation with Trump, but Beijing consistently refuses. As CNN notes, one of the reasons – according to administration representatives – is that the Chinese leader does not want to be seen as weak, taking the first step. At the same time, American officials exclude their fingertips to Beijing first, because in their opinion China decided to escalate, responding to Trump's customs.
Despite this, in recent days, Trump has openly hoped for the conclusion of a system with China, as well as the belief that Beijing wanted the same. He said, however, that the Chinese are a proud nation, and XI proud leader and “they don't know how to go about it.” Earlier, he suggested that he spokesman to the White House, that he would be “very kind” if China took commercial talks.
According to CNN, Trump has a vision of a “great agreement” with Beijing, including not only the reduction of trade deficit, but also the matters of fentanyl smuggling to the USA and the sale of Tiktok. Trump admitted, however, that after his duties imposed, the topic of consent of the PRC had collapsed, despite the fact that the parties were to be close to agreements.
