A Romanian driver, who claimed to carry cosmetics to Germany, was chosen with difficult years of imprisonment, the suspended permit and a fine of 25 million euros

A Romanian driver was sentenced on Thursday by a French court to a fine of over 25 million euros and a ten -year prison sentence after discovering 438 kilograms of cocaine in his truck, the Prosecutor's Office announced.
He was convicted of “transport, holding, import” of cocaine, “whose purity rate was between 93 and 98%”. The customs fine corresponds to the value of the goods, said the Prosecutor's Office in Cambrai, northern France.
The justice also decided to cancel the driving license and the final prohibition of the accused on the French territory, writes Agerpres.
The facts were detected on the night of 3 to 4 February, during a customs control on a French highway, on the Paris-Brussels direction.

The driver said he was coming from Portugal and was going to Germany to deliver cosmetics, they said customs services in February.
The officers first discovered a large sum of money, telephones and internet connection systems in the truck cab.
