Tiktok deleted Ion Cristoiu's account: “There were bolder clips” / gold and I can accuse the social network of “give up the pressures of the system”

Ion Cristoiu says that in three months he collected Tiktok 7.4 million appreciations, until the decision on Wednesday, when the account was deleted. Contacted by Hotnews, he admits that he received a warning on March 25, for a video commenting on a statement made by Prime Minister Ciolacu, but says that the network later motivated the suspension with previous posts, from January and February, for which he had not received any warning.

Ion Cristoiu announced on his Facebook account, in a video entitled “Censorship: I suspended the tiktok account”, about the decision taken by the social network.

Contacted by Hotnews, the journalist said he received a first warning on March 25, to which he appealed, according to the regulation. “Of course they responded in the style of the wood language and, after that, they told me nothing. I woke up today with the suspended account. The arguments are posts from January and February,” said Cristoiu.

The journalist states that, in order for an account to be suspended from Tiktok, “you have to have more warnings”: “I only have one, they took my last clips. But they were not warning in January.”

Cristoiu claims that in the videos published in Tiktok he did not have a violent language.

“There were bolder clips. For example, the one who was with the first warning left from Marcel Ciolacu's statements that the elections were renamed to cancel. I said that the CCR was likely to have directions, as for what he said, to renounce the votes to cancel them. It was a point of view.

The statement to which Ion Cristoiu refers was made by Marcel Ciolacu on March 25, after being asked if the state worked impeccably, in the context in which last year's elections were canceled.

“The one who had to answer was the president in the exercise, he is the CSAT head, he has the most information. That he did not manage correctly, you think I did not notice that such an annulment of the elections on the Renume, I understood all the things.

George Simion: “Freedom of expression is in real danger”

The President of Gold and at the same time the presidential candidate George Simion criticized, through a comment on Facebook, the Tiktok decision that deleted Ion Cristoiu's account.

“A truly important issue: Ion Cristoiu's account was deleted from Tiktok. Freedom of expression is in real danger, shame of the Chinese network because it gives up the pressures of the system,” Simion reacted.

“At the command of the system, Tik Tok manipulates the elections in Romania. Ion Cristoiu's account was closed,” was the reaction and the president, Anamaria Gavrilă.

Ion Cristoiu said he does not comment on the reactions of the two political leaders.

“I don't know, it's their job. I'm not … I didn't talk to them, I don't appeal to anyone. I made an appeal, of course it will not have any value. I was surprised by this trick, that is, if they were after the first warning three, four videos, according to their law, and I did not take into account … but I did not use it.

The suspension of Ion Cristoiu's account by Tiktok comes in the context in which in the public space in Romania there has been a whole debate after two decisions of the CNA through which certain videos were deleted or the authors of some statements were sanctioned.

One such example is the CNA decision that had in the center on journalist Marius Tucă. The CNA ordered the deletion of a video made by it, entitled “Democracy was trampled”.

The Digifm radio station received a public order from the CNA, after in a show Lucian Mîndruță said that people “who did not perform intellectually have reproduced more than intellectuals”.
