In Krasnoyarsk, the court sentenced the 44-year-old man who stole money from the card of the deceased disabled person. This was reported in the prosecutor's office of the region.
Since August 2024, the attacker looked after an incapacitus 63-year-old pensioner. To buy products and medicines, the disabled person handed over his bank card to the man. In September of the same year, the pensioner died, but the Pension and Social Insurance Fund managed to pay him payments of 25 thousand rubles.
The unprincipled Krasnoyar decided to take the opportunity and stole the funds from the map of the dead man. The attacker cashed the money and spent on personal needs.
The court found the man guilty of the theft (paragraph “G” of part 3 of article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and sentenced to 1 year of conditional imprisonment with a test period of 1 year. He compensated the damage caused to the fund voluntarily.
