Elena Lasconi, abandoned by vote by USR leadership. “An abuse made with the Bolshevik methods”
The candidate in the presidential elections, Elena Lasconi, said on Thursday, before the USR leadership meeting, which she calls informal, that a gang in her party is trying to eliminate it. According to sources, 221 out of 239 members of the USR leadership voted in favor of supporting Nicușor Dan.

USR president, Elena Lasconi, said that the vote was non -state and did not vote.
Thus, 75% voted yes – for the support of Nicușor Dan, and 22% voted. The rest were absolute.

She also reported that “USR means opening, transparency, justice” and that “a handful of people cannot confiscate this party.”
She accused that the USR leadership meeting on Thursday night is an informal one.
“If our internal sessions have become public-and I did not generate this-I say here, to be clear to everyone: tonight meeting is informal. Any maneuver to claim to make a so-called decisions would be illegal, without legal weight. It is just an attempt to manipulate perceptions.”wrote Elena Lasconi.
“We are talking about a political treatment in the strict sense: a democratically validated person is eliminated, without explanation, without a legal procedure, in the name of a so-called” party disciplines “she added.
The USR president also said that he will do justice, for both her and his party colleagues, after the USR political office decided to stop the financing of the election campaign for Elena Lasconi.
