3,000 schoolchildren and students from the Krasnoyarsk Territory took part in the Fining Olympiad

In the first stages of the V International Financial Security Olympiad, almost 3,000 schoolchildren and students from the Krasnoyarsk Territory took part. The regional Ministry of Finance said that this is the highest indicator among the subjects of the Siberian Federal District.
The invitation stage, which ended on March 23, 2025, allowed the participants to get acquainted with the format of tasks and test knowledge in mathematics, computer science, social science, jurisprudence, economics, information security and international relations. Everyone who successfully completed the tasks received first -level certificates.
On April 4, the qualifying stage of the Olympics started. Participants will have to complete more complex tasks that require an in -depth understanding of financial security and related disciplines. The best schoolchildren and students, following the results of qualifying tours, will be able to compete for access to the final.
“The high activity of Krasnoyarsk schoolchildren and students indicates the desire and ability of the young generation to withstand fraudsters in managing personal and public finances. I am sure that our guys will be able to adequately perform in the final of the Olympiad, which will become a good platform to increase knowledge and exchange of experience on the most pressing issues in the field of financial security, ”said the Deputy Prime Minister of the region, Minister of Finance Vladimir Bakhar.
Recall that the International Financial Security Olympiad has been held since 2021 on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. In 2025, it takes place as part of the national project “Youth and Children”. The Olympiad unites schoolchildren and students from different countries, providing them with the opportunity to demonstrate knowledge and gain prospects for further education and professional growth.
This year, the final week of the Olympics at the initiative of Rosfinmonitoring and the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov will be held for the first time on the basis of the Siberian Federal University.
