The daughter of the businessman Ioan Crișan, Laura Dronca (the new name, after the recent marriage), accused of ordering the murder of her father, was preventively arrested a few days after breaking her electronic monitoring bracelet she had to wear after placement under judicial control.

In February 2025, the High Court of Cassation and Justice ordered the release of Laura Crişan and her placement under judicial control.
Since the establishment of judicial control, the daughter of the Aradian businessman was obliged to wear the electronic monitoring bracelet, and, meanwhile, the General Prosecutor's Office has ordered his sending.
The electronic bracelet was broken on Sunday, March 30, after the daughter of businessman Ioan Crișan married the son of the deputy mayor of Desna.
The daughter of Ioan Crișan is accused of inciting to qualified murder in the variant of domestic violence, inciting to destroy and instigate the non -observance of the regime of explosive materials.
With her, two accomplices were sent to court, those who placed the bomb in the car of Ioan Crișan.
Prosecutors have shown that the two received about 100,000 thousand euros to assassinate Crișan.
On May 27, 2021, the two purchased a mechanism that could be used as a detonator in an improvised explosive device, controllable through the mobile phone, in which they subsequently incorporated the explosive charge.
The explosive load was purchased from an unidentified person and was held, transported and used without the right by the two defendants, according to the people of the law.
One day later, the two defendants placed the improvised explosive device in the car of businessman Ioan Crișan, and on May 29, 2021, at 06.59, detonated him from a distance while the victim was driving the car, in the parking of a store in the Vlaicu neighborhood of Arad.
According to prosecutors, Laura Crișan “He acted out of material interest”, apparently to get an inheritance.
