The prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk Territory helped a pensioner from Kansk to achieve compensation for injury due to the inaction of utilities.
The case occurred in January 2024. Passing by the public transport stop “Caprice”, the woman slipped and fell.
The pensioner was hospitalized with a fracture of the lower leg and the external subluxation of the foot. She required surgical intervention, and after it – long and expensive treatment.
“The audit showed that in the accident, the city’s utility services that did not clean the roadway from ice and did not take care of the safety of passers -by. Getting to protect the rights of a pensioner, the prosecutor’s office applied to the court demanding to recover 200 thousand rubles from MKU “Customer Service” as compensation for non -pecuniary damage, as well as legal expenses and payment of the examination in the amount of 50 thousand rubles. Despite the arguments of the institution about its innocence, the court supported our position and satisfied the requirements, ”the prosecutor’s office said and promised to make sure that the victim would receive all the payments.
