The government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory discussed the expansion of the sphere of use of unmanned aircraft systems, an increase in the fleet, modernization of infrastructure and training of drone operators.

Governor Mikhail Kotyukov recalled that UAVs have long become an effective tool for solving many tasks: drones help to protect forests from fires, identify illegal deforestation, control construction, and examine cultural heritage. For these purposes, more than 60 drones are involved, but the general needs of the region until 2030 is estimated at 402 aircraft of various configurations with the possibility of their use in five industries.
In addition, unmanned aircraft systems are a fast -growing industry that requires specialists. In 2025, more than 1,100 residents of the region plan to undergo training in the field of bass. On the basis of the formed list of key technologies of the industry, the regional science of the regional fund has selected promising scientific and technical projects related to data processing, improving communication systems, new types of bass and their costume load, and developing a mobile complex for drones. The implementation of projects will begin this year on the basis of regional educational institutions.
The Ministry of Digital Development reported that it was advisable to create a scientific and production center of the BAS in the region, which will engage in training specialists, remote sensing of the Earth, aerial photographs and monitoring, creating digital models of large settlements with visualization of urban infrastructure facilities. For storage and analysis of the collected information in the region, a regional geoinformation system can be created.
“The list of tasks needs to be expanded, so we continue to develop the regional unmanned aviation program,” the governor said. – The Minister of Digital Development presented new scenarios for the use of drones, which are now in the study. In the near future, we plan to actively use UAVs in agriculture, monitor flooding zones, cadastral survey and digitalization of the regional maps. To implement these plans, we are working on the creation of a scientific and production center of unmanned aircraft systems. Within its framework, we will engage in the training of specialists – developers and UAV operators. To do this, we launch educational initiatives in the region. I am sure they will interest young people and give her the opportunity to develop in a high -tech and promising sphere. ”
Kotyukov instructed the ministry deeper to work out the concept of the future scientific and production center and recommended that when planning a regional policy in the field of unmanned systems, not only air, but also ground and surface drones.
