In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, enhanced checks of foreign citizens on compliance with migration legislation continue. This was told in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.

Employees of the Migration Service, with the power support of the regiment of the Police Patrolian-Poster Service, checked the legality of the stay of foreigners in the Russian Federation working on construction sites and at public catering points in the Krasnoyarsk microdistrict of Solnechnaya.

During the event, the law enforcement officers checked more than 50 foreign citizens, 8 of them were detained and delivered to the migration department for further proceedings.

In total, 9 violations of migration legislation were identified and suppressed, including the illegal implementation of labor activity, the involvement of a foreign citizen to work without appropriate permission, as well as a violation of the regime and rules of stay in Russia.

“In addition, the police collected 2 material under Art. 322.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “A fictitious registration of a foreign citizen or stateless person at the place of stay in the Russian Federation”. The audit is currently being conducted, ”law enforcement agencies said.

Police officers draw the attention of foreigners and stateless persons, as well as people who employ migrants to their enterprises and enjoy foreign labor, the need for strict compliance with the requirements of migration legislation.
