“The demand seems to arouse. In my opinion, two factors are influenced. First of all, price drops are visible especially on the secondary market, which encourage the purchase of real estate and impatient in anticipation of the adoption of a new borrower support program,” BIK says, quoting the main analyst of BIK Waldemar Rogowski.
According to him, if a loan application is submitted by more than one person, then the BIK is sent to each of these people. Partly an increase in the number of people applying for a housing loan in March may also be due to the fact that less singles are currently applying for a loan.
“The second factor affecting the amount of the index value is the average amount of the requested loan. And in this aspect we have an interesting situation, because in March a historic record was broken: the average amount was PLN 460,000.
