Tourists on Madeira, including Poles, jump through fences and break the bans in this way to get to popular trails, some of which were closed after last year's fires – according to information from Portuguese media reporting on the increasingly common disregard for regulations.

According to Madeirski services cited on Tuesday by Madeira Regional TV Madeira, violating the bans of vacationers exposes not only to financial penalties, but also risk health and life. In the event of launching a rescue operation, according to the media, the culprits are charged to the costs of rescuers.
One of the places where the tourists get through the prohibitions is Vereda to Pico to Aseiro, which is the trail leading to the areland of the Aseiro peak located in the center of the island. On the recordings and films published by regional television published on the Internet, you can hear that among the disobedient tourists are mainly foreigners, including Poles.
A German tourist died on this trail on Thursday, who fell into over 200-meter gap. According to witnesses of the accident, shortly before the tragedy, the vacationowicz took a picture on a steep slope.
On the same day, the rescuers were directed to the Ponta de Sao Lourenco trail, in the east Madeira, to help the Polish tourist wounded in the leg. The regional authorities did not specify whether the accident occurred due to the vacationer.
From January, Madeira has penalties for launching a rescue operation, which was taken as a result of the tourist's fault. They are equivalent to the costs of organizing a rescue operation, including Rent a helicopter for searching and labor costs of pilots and rescuers.
The average cost of the rescue operation lasting using a helicopter on this Portuguese archipelago exceeds 1200 euros.
