Rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, targeted by new charges of sexual trafficking

American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs face new federal accusations. The hip-hop mogul is targeted by five charges, including blackmail and sexual trafficking, according to judicial data, Reuters and Agerpres transmit.
Sean “Diddy” Combs, 55, was previously targeted by three charges. He pleaded innocent.
His trial, at the Federal Court in Manhattan, is scheduled to start on May 5.
Defense lawyers did not respond immediately to a comment request, notes Reuters.
Known throughout his career and under the name Puff Daddy and P. Diddy, Combs founded Bad Boy Records and contributed to the ascent of rappers and R&B singers such as Mary J. Blige, Faith Evans, Notorious Big and Usher in the 1990s and 2000s.
According to prosecutors at the Manhattan Federal Prosecutor's Office, Combs used to use his business empire to sexually abuse women between 2004 and 2024.
