Protesters criticized the actions of the Trump administration on the dismissal of thousands of federal employees, the closure of local branches of the social security administration, the actual closure of entire departments, deportation of immigrants, reducing transgender protection and reducing federal financing of health programs. In Boston, in the state of Massachusetts, thousands of people gathered with posters “Hands away from our democracy”, “diversity, equality and inclusion make America strong” and others. In Ohio, hundreds of people gathered in the rain by the government building. Hundreds of people also conducted a demonstration in Palm Beach Gardens (Florida), a few miles from the golf Trump field.

Reuters reports that protests also took place in many cities of Europe. In Berlin, the demonstrators, protesting in front of the Tesla exhibition hall, held posters calling the Americans to “put an end to chaos” in their country. The slogans directed against the mask said: “Shut up, Elon, no one voted for you.” In Frankfurt, members of the foreign group of democrats demanded the resignation of the US President, they held posters with the slogans “Restore democracy”, “Hands off our personal data” and “The world is tired of your shit, Donald, go!”
In Paris, protesters waved banners with the inscriptions “resist the tyrant”, “the rule of law”, “save democracy”. Trump and mask protests took place in other European cities, including London and Lisbon. In the British capital, several hundred people gathered on Trafalgar Square with posters “Proud America, ashamed!” And “WTAF America?” The crowd chanted “Hands away from Canada”, “Hands off Greenland” and “Hands off Ukraine.”
