The team of investigators of the German weekly “Spiegel”, public television ZDF, the Austrian daily “Standard”, the American editorial office of PBS Television “Frontline” and the Russian investigative portal “The Insider” managed to track Marshal in Moscow. According to their findings, the Russian spy often passes in the morning through the gates of the Łubianka metro station, from which there are only a few steps to the headquarters of the main Federal Security Service (FSB) of the Russian Federation. This is confirmed by recording from cameras and logging in his phone – we read in “Spiegl”.

“At least six identities”

Journalists also reached photographs that confirm that Marsalek is often found during normal working hours near the FSB headquarters – well -dressed, apparently on the way to work as an agent.

The Russian spy is to use at least six identities, including false Belgian and Russian documents. He also took over the documents of Russian priests with a similar appearance twice – said “Spiegel”.

Investigative journalists came across Marsalka's account on the Telegram platform, registered on the phone number of Aleksander Nelidow, behind which Austrian citizen was reported. When the reporters made contact with him, asking about Marshal, they received a response in Russian: “You mistaken the number”. Then journalists from the alleged Nelidów received another answer: “What exactly would you like to talk about?” When asked about two journalists, whom Marsalek spied for FSB, he only answered: “very interesting characters”. Further attempts to make contact were unsuccessful.

New facts reveal information about a close collaborator, probably Marsalka's partner, Tatiana Spiridonowa. She was to support Marshal in his intelligence. Investigators assume that Spiridonowa took over in Istanbul three mobile phones of high -ranking employees of the Austrian Ministry of the Interior. Then she transported them to the FSB headquarters in Moscow – we read in “Spiegl”.

Regular trips to Crimea

Marsalek has traveled many times on Crimea, as indicated by the login of his phone. Information from the Russian Border Guard confirms his journey to the front of the occupied Mariupol to Russia in November 2023, again under the name of Aleksander Nelidow. He was to be accompanied by Russian special forces.

Sources of reporters in security circles confirm that Marsalek fought in the war. An additional proof is the photo that the editors reached. It shows Marsalek in military uniform with the Russian war symbol “with” – a symbol of support for Putin's war.

The German authorities have not been able to locate Marsalka, which was wanted in an international arrest warrant, and asked Russia for help in this matter. The Russian authorities officially claim that they do not have information about the current place of stay of Marsalka.
