The Gorzów District Prosecutor's Office supplemented the allegation of Robert Bąkiewicz suspected of insulting the officers of the Border Guard and the Military Police and presented him with an additional one. On Wednesday, the prosecutor announced a related decision and interrogated him.
According to a spokesman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Gorzów Wlkp. Mariola Wojciechowska-Grześkowiak, the allegation presented in August was supplemented with the slander of officers, which could humble them in the opinion of public opinion, and attempt to persuade them to fail to fail to meet official duties. An additional allegation applies to slander via the Internet of another SG officer.
The prosecutor's office reported that the suspected Robert B., he only made a short statement, did not confess to committing the alleged acts and exercised the right to refuse to explain. He also refused to answer the questions.
The prosecutor's office found both allegations as a hooligan deeds, which means that the upper limit of punishment is increased to 4.5 years imprisonment. Police supervision, the obligation to inform about leaving the place of stay and a ban on approaching Polish-German border crossings at a distance less than a kilometer still applies as a preventive measure.
After the interrogation, Bąkiewicz's lawyers announced a complaint on the preventive measures used. They also argued that the deeds accused of their client should be prosecuted from a private notification, and this is not the case. The suspect also talked to journalists.
– We are undoubtedly dealing with a huge scandal. First of all, we do not have access to full case files. Secondly, the case is pending in a bizarre situation in which this type of case is not normal for the prosecutor's office, the more so the District Prosecutor's Office – said Bąkiewicz.
He added that after the activities with the prosecutor, a search was searched for and searched for him. He said that he was trying to take part in his various items to seek arguments to conduct proceedings against him.
On August 18, the prosecutor from Gorzów, at the behest of the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Szczecin, charged Bąkiewicz that on June 29 this year. At the border in Słubice (Lubuskie), he insulted two SG officers and two officers of the military gendarmerie while performing official activities, calling them “traitors”.
On Wednesday in front of the prosecutor's building at ul. Chopin appeared over 40 people supporting Bąkiewicz. Most of them were wearing reflective vests with the inscription “Movement of the Defense of Borders”, there were also white and red flags and banners with the slogans: “Stop of migration”, “Wall behind Bąkiewicz” and speeches.
Robert Bąkiewicz is an activist of national environments, and appeared on the Polish-German border as part of the so-called civic patrols. He also appointed the so -called Border Defense Movement – a nationwide social initiative, which aims to “defend Poland against mass migration and threats related to it.” (PAP)
