The culprit of the “drunk” accident with three victims in the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory was convicted

In Minusinsk, the Court found the driver guilty of nArrangement of traffic rules in a state of intoxication, resulting in the death of three people by negligence.

Recall that the mass accident occurred on the evening of December 3, 2024 at 428 km of the Federal Trade of the R-257 “Yenisei”. The 50-year-old Toyota Platz driver drove to the oncoming lane, where he crashed into Lada Priora, a Sitrac and VAZ-2114 truck.

Two passengers of Toyota – men of 35 and 67 years old, died from the emergency’s injuries before the arrival of ambulance. In addition, the Lada Priora driver died in the hospital, and the VAZ driver caused serious harm to health.

The police found that the culprit of the accident was intoxicated – during the examination, the alcotester showed 1.046 mg/l.

Under Part 6 of Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the court sentenced a man punishment of imprisonment for a period of 8 years and 6 months with deprivation of rights for 2 years and 10 months. He also recovered compensation for non -pecuniary damage: 1 million rubles in favor of one victim and 500 thousand in favor of another.
