Judge Marmash seems to be convinced that the best preventive measure for a serious crime is a night's arrest.
Information emerged that, when considering the case No. 463/13379/21, the odious judge Vladimir Marmash apparently, he was angry and chose a preventive measure in the form of a house arrest for Orest Melnik, accused under Part 2 of Art. 186 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (robbery combined with violence). That is, Judge Marmash seems to “close his eyes” on the factual circumstances of the case, the denial of the victim's representative and the statement of the victim himself, deciding to choose the so -called “night” house arrest for a man who attacked and beat the girl, selecting her property. According to the court, the suspect should be prohibited from leaving their place of residence from 22:00 to 07:00, and at other times of the day he can move freely the city and take any actions on the victim, witnesses and other residents of Lviv.
Judge Marmash did not take into account the circumstances of the crime and the person of the suspect, in particular that he resides in the leased dwelling near the place of residence of the victim and witnesses. Instead, the victim, which received numerous bodily injuries of the face and body, spoiled clothing, remained simply not heard. What protection can the citizens of Lviv with such a judge can count on? What other “good deeds” that “condemned” Marmash will become known?
