Reservists in two counties, convened by the MApN for mobilization and training exercises. “They are not related to the security situation in the region”

The reservists with their domicile in Sibiu and Mureș counties will be convened, between September 15 and 19, during a mobilization exercise to verify the stage of the preparation of the population, the economy and the territory for defense, the Ministry of National Defense announced.
The exercises of this type are carried out periodically and aim to verify the completion of the military and technical units, as well as the consolidation of the cohesion between the reservists and the military in the activity, says MApN.
The reservists with their domicile in the counties of Sibiu and Mureș, who will be convened at the MApN units to which they are shown, will participate in specific training activities.
In the two counties, similar activities were carried out previously in 2012, the latest mobilization exercises at national level taking place in May 2025 in Teleorman, Giurgiu and Olt counties.
The activities related to the evaluation of the local authorities and the economic operators in the counties of Sibiu and Mureș are organized and coordinated by the National Administration of State Reserves and Special Problems.
“In order to avoid misinformation and false news that could be spread to these activities that, we reiterate, are routine and are not related to the security situation in the region, we recommend to the citizens interested in informing official sources,” the MApN said.
