Earlier, US President Donald Trump wrote about Kirk's death. “The great, or even legendary Charlie Kirk is dead. Nobody understood or had a heart for young people in the United States better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by everyone, especially by me, and now, when he is gone with us, Melania and I consider his beautiful wife Erice and family. Charlie, we love you!” – the president wrote on the Truth Social platform.

“Political violence has become too common”
Charlie Kirk was one of the leading figures of the American right and a close associate of Trump. He founded the Turning Point USA organization, which aimed to mobilize young conservative voters, and also ran his own media.
