Ploiești Oil, 12th place after 8 stages, reached an agreement with football player Jerome Junior Nonguene, who signed a valid commitment for the current season, with an extension option for the next, announced on Tuesday evening the Prahovean club on its Facebook page.
27 years old, Jerome Nonguene measures 1.86 meters and evolves on the post of central defender. It has 10 selections in the national team of Cameroon, although as Junior it represented France, winning the European U19 Championship in 2016, in a team with footballers like Kylian Mbappe or Marcus Thuram.
He started football at the French group Sochaux, subsequently having experiences at Stuttgart, Genoa, Eintracht Frankfurt, Snazette and RB Salzburg. With the Austrian team it has evolved in the most important European interclub competitions, checking 13 matches in the Champions League and 8 games in the Europa League, where he managed to score a goal.
In Austria he won 5 champion titles and 4 cups along with RB Salzburg, and in the towel has passed the Switzerland Cup.
