The Directorate of the Ergaki Natural Park in the Krasnoyarsk Territory asked not to “decorate” the trees in the park with ribbons and not leave other garbage.
Park employees note that people harm nature, hanging various tapes, scarves, and even large canvases on trees, roots and shrubs. Thus, they “honor” the spirits and believe, the more “tape”, the more respect they expressed.
“But for nature it is garbage! Now such an attributes are made of synthetic materials, which, as everyone knows, is overwhelmed by tens to hundreds of years, ”the park notes.
Moreover, such ribbons lead to the death of plants, which are already difficult to survive in difficult conditions – in the mountains, with a sharply continental climate.
“For trees and shrubs, this is especially destructive due to the fact that they grow due to a thin layer of cambium, which is located under the bark of any tree, and if it is transferred, the plant dies due to the stop of the movement of nutrients,” the park reminded.
There are special places in the park where you can hang tapes and scarves. This is a platform in front of the antilateral gallery and another – not far from the chapel. All tapes placed in other places are cut off.
In addition to ribbons, the park is polluted by containers from rapidly cooked food, plastic bags, disposable dishes and other things that do not decline.
“We also encounter a constant layout of food on the paths that attracts the bears. The last case struck the park employees with complete ignoring all the rules of the park, unconscious tourists thought of leaving a plastic bowl for feeding animals, crushing it with a stone, ”the park said.
