Krasnoyarsk architects showed the details of the project center project on the Nikolaev hill. Representatives of the Tourism Agency spoke about the beginning of its construction the day before.

The A2 design workshop said that the building will be located at the top of the hill. It will “grow” from a wooden amphitheater, which is part of the complex of the observation deck. In the space between the building and the amphitheater, a summer cafe may appear.

“The image of the visitor center is based on the shape of the spiral. As the main facade material, a wooden texture was chosen, borrowed from the amphitheater, which allows the object to gently enter into the existing ensemble. The architectural glazing of the dining rooms and the entrance group dissolves the object in the panorama of the Nikolaev hill outside and reveals amazing views on the surroundings of Krasnoyarsk from the inside, ”the authors of the project said.

Architects noted that the task was not limited to the development of the utilitarian functions of the object.

“We sought to find an architectural image that would complete the formation of an ensemble with a vidnyka, which has already loved the Krasnoyarsk residents. A flying silhouette will become an emotional dominant of a unique landscape, ”the architectural bureau notes.

There will be two floors in the visits. At the first, a souvenir shop, administrators, a wardrobe and toilets, as well as a cafe and a dining room will be placed. On the second floor there will also be part of the dining room and doors to reach the operated roof. It will also be possible to climb the spiral staircase enveloping the building to the observation deck on the roof.

Recall that construction work on the hill has already begun. They do not plan to close access to the observation deck.

Recall that the observation deck on the Nikolaev hill was opened in 2021. Krasnoyarski immediately criticized her for the lack of a toilet. Representatives of the regional tourism agency then said that people do not spend much time on the observation deck, so the construction is not needed there.
