Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated, in an interview for TVR, that he is reserved, in principle, to the establishment of exceptions to the payment of health insurance for certain categories, as announced, on Monday, PSD.

Bolojan does not want to keep your exemptions
“We have not seen the proposals. In each discussion, proposals from the Parliament or from the parties come, but not all can be put into practice (…) A principle response: if we want to recover that the country we have to order in public finances, this means the elimination of more exemptions and exceptions,” said Ilie Bolojan, saying that for 16 million,
“The discussions sound good from a perspective, but you create precedent for other exceptions in other tax areas. There is no economic mobile perpetuum, this country can not spend more money than collect from people who work. I prefer to tell Romanians what is budget and economic,” said Prime Minister.
Referring to the child-raising leave, Bolojan gave the example of Germany in which the duration is one year, not two years, and the allowance is 65%, not 85% of the last income.
“We need to see what is our ability to support certain projects. Every 3 lei spent for operation, a leu is borrowed. I am very reserved to spend some money I have,” said Ilie Bolojan.
