Parliamentarians approved the exclusion provided for in the resolution from part 5 of Art. 401 of the Criminal Code on the concept of a military criminal offense mitigating norm, which exempts from liability for the first committed SZCh or desertion, he explained.
The document also proposes to expand several articles of the Code of Criminal Procedure at the expense of paragraphs stipulating the procedure and conditions for the release of the military from criminal liability from the DZ in the presence of special conditions.
The people's deputy from the Voice Yaroslav Zheleznyak specified that 227 parliamentarians supported the decision in the first reading.

On August 30, the deadline for returning to the service with the resumption of all military payments for military personnel who arbitrarily left the unit was reminded in the State Bureau of Investigations of Ukraine.
As the director of the State Bureau of Investigations Alexei Sukhachev reported on August 5, more than 29 thousand military personnel have already returned to the service from November 29, 2025.
