Over PLN 4 billion. That was the net loss of the hard coal mining sector in the first half of the year

The net financial result of the hard coal mining sector in the first half of 2025 amounted to PLN -4.059 billion against PLN -8.365 billion in the same period of 2024 -the Industrial Development Agency, which analyzes the coal market.

The sector's revenues amounted to PLN 16.84 billion against PLN 21.11 billion in the first half of 2024.

Including coal sales revenues amounted to PLN 9.86 billion against PLN 12.9 billion in the same period of 2024.

The costs amounted to PLN 21.27 billion against PLN 30.95 billion in the first half of 2024.

EBITDA amounted to -2.59 billion PLN -7.67 billion. (PAP Biznes)
