A spokesman for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Guo Jiakun announced on Tuesday about the temporary abolition of visa obligation for Russian citizens with ordinary passports. This decision is an expression of China's gratitude for a high level of Chinese-Russian relationships.


Russia thus joined 47 other countries (including Poland), covered by Beijing by a unilateral release, allowing a 30-day stay in China for tourist and business purposes, visiting family and friends or transit.
